The goal of the Health Services Department at Naugatuck High School is to help students maintain good health by:
- Referring to parents when results from required screening tests and physical examination indicate the need for medical attention or correction.
- Carrying out policies relating to required immunizations and returning to school after illness.
- Providing emergency care when students or personnel become ill or are injured.
- Maintaining and updating school health records.
If a student becomes ill in school, he should report to the nurse. Students must not leave the building because of illness without authorization. If the nurse is not available, students are to report to Office of Student Affairs. |
